What is a Portal? A portal is a collection of web pages that your PSP can view offline containing flash games, flash videos, pictures and other links. This is a tutorial showing you how to install a portal on your Playstation Portable.

Note: Your PSP must be at least version 2.0

Step 1

First you need a portal! Here is a simple one I have made, you can download it here.

There are lots of portals online you just have to look around a little.

Step 2

Now for the next step you either need a USB cord for the PSP or you need a computer with a card reader that is compatible with the Memory Stick Duo.

Extract the .zip file in the root folder of you PSP

(you can really put it anywhere in your PSP you just have to change the way you put it in on the PSP's Internet browser)

Step 3

Now unplug your PSP (or put you memory card back in) and go to your PSP's Internet browser

Note: you do NOT need to be connected to the Internet to do this!

Now click the address bar and enter in...

file:portal/portal.html

Note: It is very important that you enter this exactly!

Press enter and if you did it right you should see this on your screen.

Now before you do anything press triangle and add this page to your bookmarks so you do not have to type in file:portal/portal.html every time you want to go to the portal.

And that's about it! Now play some games, mess around with the applications and all that good stuff!
